About Me
I'm a mother, a repeat founder, and someone who understands firsthand the complexity of navigating business decisions while managing the realities of family life.
As the founder of an urban charter school and a tech-enabled services company, I've built organizations from the ground up, pivoted when necessary, and made the difficult decisions that come with growth and change. I'm also a parent to a child with special needs and a typical child—experiences that have shaped my understanding of resilience, adaptation, and the delicate balance between professional ambition and personal responsibility.
My journey hasn't been linear. I've pivoted many times, both personally and professionally. Each pivot taught me something essential about decision-making under pressure, knowing when to hold on and when to let go, and finding clarity in moments of uncertainty.
Each venture has deepened my understanding of what it takes to build, lead, and sometimes pivot when the moment demands it.
Building an educational institution from scratch taught me about mission-driven leadership, navigating regulatory environments, and the unique challenges of serving communities with complex needs. I learned to balance vision with operational reality, manage stakeholders with competing interests, and make decisions that impact hundreds of families.
Launching a technology company showed me a different side of entrepreneurship—rapid iteration, product-market fit challenges, and the constant tension between growth and sustainability. This experience deepened my understanding of pivots, strategic timing, and when to double down versus when to change direction.
Parenting a child with special needs alongside a typical child while building companies taught me lessons no business school could provide. It revealed the importance of flexibility, the power of clear priorities, and the reality that leadership isn't just about strategy—it's about showing up authentically, even when things are hard.

The most difficult decisions aren't made clearer by adding more complexity. My role is to help you find clarity in the midst of uncertainty, distill what matters most, and move forward with confidence.
Generic advice doesn't work for founders navigating real-world challenges. I take the time to understand your unique situation—your business model, your family dynamics, your values, and your constraints—because context is everything.
The decisions you're facing are often sensitive—financially, emotionally, and strategically. Every engagement is held in complete confidence. What we discuss stays between us.
I'm not here to give you frameworks or buzzwords. My guidance is grounded in lived experience—what actually works when you're in the thick of it, when the stakes are high, and when theory meets reality.
Whether you're contemplating a pivot, navigating an acquisition, or balancing leadership with family responsibilities, I'd love to hear your story and explore how I can support you.
